If you're getting a lot of viruses the first thing you need to do is not download stuff. Use Firefox. Don't download. Use Lavasoft's AdAware. Don't download. HP is meh, my lappy is an HP and it's reasonably good. But I don't think I would stomach buying another other piece of hardware (looks at that HP printer that sucks and wishes it were already out of ink so I could buy another different one).

I have Firefox and Ad-aware, plus ZoneAlarm, AVG, Avira, Spybot, RogueRemover, HijackThis, and Regisrty Mechanic. The only thing I download is the new Bleach episode every week.

But yeah, I hate HP. All three computers I've had are/were HP and all three suck bawls. XDD;

I'm a big fan of Avast! when it comes to antivirus programs. I have had only one virus actually get past it and it was because I was using IE instead of Firefox.

what a pain
ive never had any virus troubles until my sister dled heaps of stuff and 2 outta our 3 computers died
so i downloaded heaps of anti virus stuff, it didnt work (theres only so much the free programs like spybot, hijack this etc can do, and they struggle with the killer viruses)
in the end, i reinstalled windows and bought a 3X liscence for norton
problem solved. and i am happy and stress free, and don't have to buy a new computer (which shouldnt need to happen anyways if its just viruses, i only buy new computers when mine is too far gone (my laptop anyway, my desktop i just add new parts )
